Teambuilding
" The whole is more than the sum of its parts". This
captures the essence of teams as distinct from groups of individuals.
Many ‘teams’ are in reality groups of individuals operating
largely independently of each other without common goals and objectives.
Effective teamworking can be difficult to achieve and even more difficult
to sustain. Given the increasing complexity of organisational life, especially
decision making, teamworking is now a key enabler in effective organisational
performance. Organisations therefore need to invest time and effort in
facilitating team effectiveness.
We have worked with many organisations in order to enhance team effectiveness.
The teams involved were from various functional areas and business sectors.
We have helped with the development of new teams and the enhancement of
established teams who are going through change and need fresh direction.
We use a variety of proven teambuilding tools and techniques including
the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
